Mission: Win Rugby World Cup 2025

Canada's Women's Rugby Team is ranked #2 in the world despite operating on only a fraction of the budget of our top competition.

In March 2025, Rugby Canada officially launched the Mission: Win Rugby World Cup (MWRWC) 2025 fundraising campaign with the goal of raising $1,000,000 to send the best-ever prepared Canadian team to the World Cup.

The mission is almost accomplished: Thanks to the generous support of Canadian rugby fans, we are now 95% of the way to achieving our fundraising goal, but we are still working hard to close the gap.

All funds raised through the MWRWC campaign go towards offsetting the $1million funding gap needed to cover the costs of executing a world class plan for training and competition to best position our Women’s National Team to win the Rugby World Cup 2025.

Your donation will support our mission to win Canada’s first ever Rugby World Cup – a milestone that will undoubtedly leave behind a legacy to inspire future generations of Canadian rugby players and continue to grow our sport across the country.
