    About Rugby

    Rugby is a dynamic, progressive, and inclusive sport played by children, youth and adults of all ages. Our backbone is our community! When you join a rugby club, you join the rugby family. It’s a great way to keep active, improve your mental health and develop many transferable skills. No matter your age, experience, or background there is a place in rugby for YOU!

    There are many formats to rugby including the popular 15-a-side and 7-a-side variations we see at the Summer Olympics and on TV, as well as flag and non-contact options. Whether you’re an up and coming star, or are just looking to keep fit and have fun, your local club is the place to go!

    Rookie Rugby has been designed to help young players learn to play rugby in an inclusive environment while developing as an athlete and an individual.

    The Rookie Rugby website offers a number of free resources to introduce rugby to your community. These include presentations, guidebooks, school resources for teaching multiple sessions of rugby and more.

    Masters Rugby (35+)

    Masters rugby is the variation of rugby for players over the age of 35. The game is played with a combination of the World Rugby Laws of the game and additional variations to ensure a safe and inclusive environment for any player any age.
