RUGBY CANADA REFEREE PROFILE

WR Level 1 15s & 7s
This course is designed for the beginner referee and is offered over the course of a single day or in a blend of online and in-person sessions.
Prior to registration, match officials must complete the following:
- WR Rugby Ready
- WR Concussion Management for the General Public
- WR Laws of the Game
- WR Introduction to Match Officiation
- WR Beginner’s Guide to Rugby
Once all the prerequisites are complete, participants can register for the course.

WR Level 2 15s & 7s
This course is designed for referees looking to increase their skill and competency and is delivered over the course of 2 days.
Prior to registration match officials must complete the following:
- WR Rugby Ready
- WR Concussion Management for the General Public
- WR Laws of the Game
Once all the prerequisites are complete, participants can register for the course.

WR Level 3 15s or 7s
This course is designed for experienced referees looking to progress to the next level and is delivered over several days in junction with a competition. This course is by invitation only and applications must be submitted directly to Rugby Canada.
Applications and any questions should be emailed to Jackie Tittley, Manager of Training and Education at jtittley@rugby.ca. Coaches who are interested but do not feel ready to begin the process can also contact Jackie Tittley for more information on how to prepare.
