Canada U20 set to face England U20 in Halifax

HALIFAX, NOVA SCOTIA (Friday, August 17) – Canada head coach Jack Hanratty has named his starting roster to face England on Saturday for the winner-takes-all finale to the Tri-Nations Cup at Wanderers Ground.
Canada opened the tournament with a 36-12 victory over USA on August 7th, while England also knocked off the Americans 43-17 on the 14th.
In the first match up between these two sides on August 10th– which was deemed not a part of the Tri-Nations tournament beforehand by all three teams – England were victorious 36-22.
Saturday’s showdown at the 6,000-seat revamped stadium in downtown Halifax will decide the winner of the three-team event.
Canada will once again be captained by number 8 Sophie de Goede.
