Rugby Canada Annual Awards & Hall of Fame Inductions Update

Rugby Canada is pleased to welcome Hans de Goede, Julie Foster, Scott Stewart and Mark Wyatt as our 2019 Hall of Fame Inductees. They join fourteen others that have laid the foundation of rugby in Canada for today’s National Team programs. These leaders are an inspiration to the thousands of youth just being introduced to the sport through the HSBC Rookie Rugby and Age Grade programs across the country.

Their individual announcements indicated that they, along with our 2018 Annual Award recipients, would be honoured at a dinner originally scheduled on March 7th in Vancouver. In appreciation of the large number of social events during the week of the HSBC Canada Sevens, Rugby Canada has rescheduled the event.

The Annual Awards and Hall of Fame Inductions will now take place at a reception on Friday, April 26, 2019 at the Fairmont Empress Hotel in Victoria. This brings the event back to its roots as part of Rugby Canada's Annual General Meeting, which is taking place in Victoria April 25-27, 2019.
