Uruguay defeat Canada at the final whistle

Canada's tries were scored by Ciaran Hearn, Theo Sauder & Jamie Mackenzie, with two points off the boot of Sauder. Uruguay's tries were scored by Federico Favaro, Ignacio Dotti and Guillermo Pujadas. 

Uruguay, who played with 14 men for 65 minutes of the game after scrum half Santiago Arata was given a red card for a dangerous tackle on winger Andrew Coe, scored on the final play of the game off a pick-and-go to seal the three point victory. 

Canada will now travel to Brazil for the second game of the tournament in Sao Paolo on February 9th.
