On Saturday, August 27th, Rugby Canada, in partnership with Rugby Nova Scotia, will be hosting a FREE HSBC Rookie Rugby Festival for children between the ages of 5 and 12 and a NFP Flag Rugby Festival for those interested in playing girls rugby who are between the ages of 13 and 16.
On Saturday, August 27th, 2022, Rugby Canada, in partnership with Rugby Nova Scotia, will be hosting a FREE HSBC Rookie Rugby Festival for children between the ages of 5 and 12 and a NFP Flag Rugby Festival for those interested in playing girls rugby who are between the ages of 13 and 16.
This is an exciting opportunity for new and existing rugby players to participate in a fun, action-packed day of non-contact rugby. The session will include various youth rugby games and activities as well as the opportunity to play alongside current and former Canadian national team players. Once the child is registered, you will receive an automatic response that will include an exclusive 2-for-1 ticket offer. The match is scheduled to kick off at 5:00PM at the Wanderers Grounds in Halifax.

What to bring: Athletic clothing, cleats or running shoes and a water bottle.
Who’s invited: Youth between ages of 5 and 12 and those interested in playing girls rugby who are between the ages of 13 and 16 regardless of rugby experience. Existing players are encouraged to bring a friend.
Activities: A free, fun-filled day of rugby games and activities with current and former Canadian national team players. For those that wish to stay for the festival’s duration, there will be an area for parents and guardians to relax and watch the activities.
