The Canadian Olympic Committee (COC) has announced the following roster updates for today’s women’s rugby sevens match against France.
PARIS (July 29, 2024) – The Canadian Olympic Committee (COC) has announced the following roster updates for today’s women’s rugby sevens match against France:
Keyara Wardley has been ruled out for tonight’s match against France due to injury. Alternate Shalaya Valenzuela (Abbotsford, B.C.) will replace Wardley for the match and will wear number 14.
Following further medical assessment, Krissy Scurfield, who sustained an injury on July 28 during a match against New Zealand, will miss the rest of the tournament. Alternate Taylor Perry will replace Scurfield on the roster for the remainder of the tournament.
