Canada’s Women’s Rugby Team recently took part in their first test matches following the 2017 Women’s Rugby World Cup (WRWC) in Ireland, which marked the beginning of a new journey for the program.
While the team finished with a 0-3 record, 17 players got their first-ever international experience, which bodes well for looking ahead to WRWC 2021 and beyond.
Canada’s Women’s Rugby Team is supported through the Monty Heald Fund, which eliminated the Pay-to-Play system in 2016. To learn more and provide financial assistance, please click here
