Canada vs. Scotland
Canada’s Men’s Sevens Team dropped their opening game of day two 19-0 against Scotland in the Challenge Trophy Quarterfinals.
Canada came out of the blocks slow and could not find their rhythm as Scotland scored three unanswered tries through Darcy Graham (2) and Glenn Bryce.
Canada next face the loser of France/Wales in the 13th place semi-final at 3:46pm ET/12:46pm PT.

Canada’s Men’s Sevens Team progressed to the 13th place playoff with a 31-19 victory over France.
The end-to-end game which featured eight tries meant the lead shifted on numerous occasions. Canada were too strong in the second half as they scored three unanswered tries to walk away with a 12-point victory.
Canada's Men's Sevens Team next face Samoa/Uruguay in the 13th place playoff. The game kicks off at 7:12pm ET/4:12pm PT.

Canada’s Men’s Sevens Team finished the 2018 Canada Sevens campaign in 14th position after a 21-15 defeat to Samoa in their final game.
On a personal note, Nate Hirayama scored a late try to become the 5th highest points scorer of all time on the World Sevens Series. Only Cecil Afrika, Dan Norton, Tomasi Cama and Ben Gollings are now ranked above the Canadian great.
Canada’s Men’s Sevens Team’s next tournament will be in Hong Kong from 6-8 April.
