MONTEVIDEO, URUGUAY – Canada “A” head coach Kingsley Jones has named his 23-man team to face Tonga “A” on Sunday to close out the Americas Pacific Challenge.

Looking for their first win of the competition, Jones’ outfit faces a Tonga “A” side that defeated USA “A” 39-30 but were defeated 23-15 by Samoa “A”.

Led by Captain Phil Mack, the selected Canada “A” roster sees a number of changes from the first two fixtures against Uruguay “A” and Argentina XV.

“Despite a number injuries, along with losing Conor Keys back to Rotherham, which was previously agreed upon before the tour, we still have a strong starting team and are preparing for a win tomorrow,” said Jones from South America.

“We are looking for an improved performance from Wednesday and a win,” he added.

Canada's final match of the tournament will be October 14 at 10am ET/7am PT against Tonga "A". The game will be broadcast live on World Rugby's website and Facebook page.
