2019 HSBC Canada Sevens Single day tickets go on sale Tuesday, January 15 at 10:00AM

VANCOUVER, BC: Only General Admission tickets remain as organizers prepare for the HSBC Sevens Series stop in Vancouver on March 9th and 10th at BC Place Stadium.

Canadian Rugby fans are gearing up for another epic weekend this March as Canada Sevens organizers confirmed the on-sale date for single-day tickets to the 2019 HSBC Canada Sevens at BC Place Stadium, March 9th and 10th. The Public on-sale for single-day tickets will begin on Tuesday, January 15th at 10am via Ticketmaster. General Admission (GA) Single Day tickets are priced at $70.00 and GA Group (10 or more) tickets are priced at $65.00 plus service fees. Similar to previous years, only General Admission tickets remain available, with all Suites, Premium and Reserved seating unavailable for purchase. In addition to single day tickets, Tournament passes for both days of the event are also still available in the GA category for $109.00 plus service fees. Although ‘festival seating,’ General Admission tickets do provide fans access to the lower bowl, including front row seats, as available.

The tournament takes place over two days, with the Saturday competition schedule featuring 24 round-robin pool games. Sunday features another 21 playoff matches, including the Bronze and Gold Medal finals where the 2019 HSBC Canada Sevens Champion will be crowned. In its first three years, the tournament has delivered a dynamic atmosphere for both days, with Saturday playing host to a high-energy celebratory party that showcases colourful costumes and jubilant crowd participation, and Sunday bringing more focus to the celebration of high performance sport and community, that sets the perfect stage for families to come out and watch the 21 play-off matches amid a colourful, enthusiastic and supportive crowd.

This years’ HSBC Sevens Series carries additional significance, with results and rankings counting towards qualification for the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo. Sevens made its debut on the Olympic Sport Program in 2016 in Rio, and quickly established itself as a fan favourite

thanks to its unique and enthusiastic fan culture, along with the fast paced and dynamic 14-minute matches on the field of play.
