2023 Canadian U19 Rugby Championships kick off July 30 in Vancouver

The 2023 Canadian U19 Rugby Championships are set to take place July 30 to August 6 at the University of British Columbia.

Both the women’s and men’s competition will feature the BC Bears, Alberta Wolfpack, Ontario Blues, Rugby Quebec, and Atlantic Rock. This will be the first time that a women’s U19 Canadian Championship with regional teams has been staged. The previous men’s tournament was held last July and August at the University of Guelph following a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic.

All matches are free to attend and will take place on Arthur Lord Field in front of the University of British Columbia’s Gerald McGavin Centre.

Rugby Canada is also pleased to announce the roster of officials for the tournament. A mix of experienced and developing officials have been invited, and will be immersed in an ongoing learning environment with post-match reviews and sessions with coaches taking place throughout the week. We look forward to seeing them in action, supporting their growth and development, and ensuring a safe and competitive environment for the teams.
