Roster Update: Cooper Coats and Austin Creighton to join Canada’s Men’s Rugby Team in Spain

Cooper Coats and Austin Creighton will join Canada’s Men’s Rugby Team in Spain for La Vila International Rugby Cup, with Ciaran Breen and Dewald Kotze no longer available to attend.  

Coats, a member of Canada’s Men’s Sevens Team who competed at August’s Paris 2024 Olympic Qualification event in Langford, earned his first cap for Canada’s Men’s Rugby Team in 2021 versus Wales. 

Currently in his second season with the Pacific Pride Academy, Creighton was previously named to Canada’s U20 Men’s Rugby Team in 2020 for fixtures against Portugal and Canada’s U18 Men’s Rugby Team in 2018 for fixtures against Hong Kong.
