Rugby Canada’s Commitment for Black History Month
Rugby Canada is proud to be celebrating Black History Month throughout February with content about individuals and their stories both as people and as rugby players. Rugby Canada will use this month as a time to share what we do year-round to support change and growth regarding inclusivity and diversity in the game of rugby
As the game of rugby evolves, Rugby Canada remains dedicated to ensuring that it is accessible to everyone, reflecting the diverse communities across our country.
This is highlighted in the 2024 Community Rugby Fund, where priority was given to applications for projects that aimed to enhance inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility of rugby within a club, educational institution, or community organization, particularly for Black people in Canada.
